This page is for product owners, CTOs and founders of gaming platforms, and for agencies serving them, who already have a site or app and need a crash game connected to it. After reading you should be able to choose between a seamless wallet and a transfer wallet, decide whether to license a game or build one, and ask a prospective partner the right questions. It is not a guide for players, and it does not promote casinos or betting.
Crash game API integration services are mostly about plumbing: how a bet becomes a wallet debit, how a cash-out becomes a credit, and what happens when a request fails halfway. Those details decide whether players trust the product and whether your finance team can reconcile it. We also cover the legal position in India first, because it changes what can be built at all. What is crash game API integration?
A crash game is a short, round-based game. Players stake an amount, a multiplier starts rising, and each player must cash out before the multiplier crashes. Because rounds last seconds, the game depends on fast, real-time communication between the player's screen and the server.
Crash game integration means connecting a game, or a provider's game API, to your own platform: player accounts and sessions, wallet, bet and cash-out events, round history, reporting and admin tools. The game itself comes from one of two places. You can license it from a provider or a game aggregator, or you can have it custom built. Either way, the integration layer is where your platform and the game agree on who is who and who owes what.
This guide suits owners of existing platforms and founders planning a gaming site. It does not suit anyone looking for a casino or betting promotion, and it is not aimed at players.
Are crash games legal in India? Read this before you build
In 2025 India passed the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025. According to PRS India's summary of the Bill, an online money game is one where a user pays money or other stakes in expectation of winning, whether the game is based on skill or chance. Credits and tokens bought with money count as stakes. The summary also says offering such games, advertising them and facilitating payments for them are prohibited, with penalties of up to three years' imprisonment and Rs 1 crore for offering or facilitating transactions (PRS India, 2025). We checked this summary on 16 October 2026; please confirm details against the enacted Act and any later rules.
On that reading, a real-money crash game offered to players in India appears to fall inside the ban. The lawful paths are generally social or free-to-play games where no stakes are paid, or work for other markets where the client holds the right licences. Do not treat this page as permission for any restricted activity.
Brandzivio builds software only. The client is responsible for licences and compliance in every market, and nothing here promises winnings, returns or income. This is not legal advice; please ask a qualified lawyer before you build or launch.
How does a crash game connect to your platform?
Whatever the vendor, a round follows roughly the same path. The important principle is server authority: the game server decides the crash point and every payout, and the player's screen only displays it. A browser must never be trusted to report a win.
- Step 1: the player logs in on your platform, and your system passes a session token to the game.
- Step 2: the game launches, either inside an iFrame on your page or through direct API calls from your own front end.
- Step 3: the player places a bet, and the game asks your wallet to debit the stake.
- Step 4: the server fixes the crash point before the round starts, so it cannot be changed mid-round.
- Step 5: the rising multiplier streams to every player over WebSockets, which keep a live connection open instead of repeated page requests.
- Step 6: when a player cashes out, the server confirms the multiplier and asks your wallet to credit the win.
- Step 7: the round closes, and the result is stored as round history for reports and disputes.
| Factor | REST API integration | iFrame embed |
|---|---|---|
| Control over design | High: you build the interface yourself | Limited: the provider controls the look |
| Speed to launch | Slower | Faster |
| Engineering effort on your side | Higher | Lower |
What endpoints does an integration usually need?
Source Code Lab describes the usual set as authentication, balance, bet, payout and round history (vendor guide, 2026). Your platform either exposes these to the game, or calls the provider's equivalents. Ask for the documentation and a sandbox environment early, so your developers can test failures as well as happy paths.
If you are still choosing a stack for the surrounding site, our guide to custom website development at /services/website-development explains what a solid base looks like.
Seamless wallet or transfer wallet: which fits crash games?
With a seamless wallet, you keep the player's balance and the game calls your wallet for every bet and every win. With a transfer wallet, funds move from your wallet into a separate game balance and back out later. Most crash operators lean towards a seamless wallet because the player sees one balance, but it demands a fast and dependable wallet API.
Crash rounds are short, so players feel wallet delay more than they would in a slow game. Track360 notes that a seamless wallet relies on synchronous debit and credit calls measured in milliseconds, so latency and reliability matter (Track360, 2026).
| Factor | Seamless wallet | Transfer wallet |
|---|---|---|
| Where the balance lives | On your platform only | Split between your wallet and a game balance |
| Build effort | Higher: you must build a fast wallet API | Lower: simple deposit and withdraw transfers |
| Latency sensitivity | High: every bet and win is a live call | Lower: calls happen at transfer time |
| Player experience | One balance, no moving funds | Extra step to move money in and out |
| Bonus control | Strong: rules stay on your side | Weaker: bonus rules must be mirrored in the game |
| Failure risk | A failed call mid-round needs careful handling | Stuck funds in the game balance |
How do idempotent calls and rollback protect players?
Networks fail, and a game will sometimes retry a request. An idempotent call carries a unique transaction ID, so if the same debit arrives twice, your wallet recognises it and charges once. Track360 makes the same point: a seamless wallet needs idempotent handling so retries are not double-counted (2026).
A rollback reverses a debit when a round cannot complete, for example if the game server crashes after taking the stake. Your wallet should accept a rollback by the original transaction ID and refuse to apply it twice. This is general design advice, not a Brandzivio commitment, but any partner should be able to explain exactly how they handle it.
Licensed crash game or custom build?
If you only need the game on your site, integrating a licensed title is usually quicker than building one. A custom build gives you control over the maths, look and source code, at higher cost and a longer path to launch. Whoever builds it, agree code ownership in writing.
Published market figures are wide. Source Code Lab quotes 8 to 12 weeks for a basic build and 14 to 18 weeks with compliance extras (vendor estimate, 2026). Game-Ace publishes prices from EUR 60,000 for a focused single-chain build with operator wallet integration and 3 to 5 months (vendor estimate, 2026). Ranges are wide because chains, game mechanics and audit scope differ. These are vendor estimates, not Brandzivio quotes, and they should not be mixed with the indicative range in the last section.
| Factor | Licensed game | Custom build |
|---|---|---|
| Time to launch | Shorter: integration work only | Longer: design, maths, build and testing |
| Control of maths and branding | Limited to what the provider allows | Full control |
| Ongoing fees | Usually revenue share or licence fees | Hosting and maintenance, no licence fee |
| Source code ownership | Stays with the provider | Can be yours, if agreed in writing |
| Certification burden | Often carried by the provider | Falls on you or your builder |
| Best for | Adding a game quickly to an existing platform | A signature game or tight brand control |
What about provably fair, RNG and certification?
A provably fair crash game lets a player check that a round was not rigged. Before the round, the server publishes a hash of its secret server seed. The player contributes a client seed, and a nonce counts the rounds. After the round, the server reveals the seed, and anyone can recalculate the crash point and confirm it matches the earlier hash. Ask any vendor whether a player-facing verification tool is included, because many are not.
Provably fair does not replace third-party testing of the RNG (random number generator). Where a licence requires certification, labs such as iTech Labs, BMM and Hacken are named by Game-Ace as examples; this is not a ranking. Source Code Lab says Curacao and Malta require testing, which is a vendor claim, so confirm with the regulator that applies to you. Also ask about the game's RTP (return to player) and house edge settings, and how round history and audit logs are kept.
Back office, reporting and safety controls to plan for
The game is only half the product. Your team will live in the admin tools, so plan them at the same time as the wallet calls.
- Admin controls: bet limits, supported currencies, switching a game on or off, and round and bet reports.
- Reconciliation: a routine check that the game ledger and the wallet ledger agree, with differences flagged.
- Anti-fraud and audit logs: who changed which setting, and unusual betting or account patterns.
- Responsible-play tools, if the product is lawful for you: deposit and bet limits, time-outs and reality checks.
- Load and soft-launch testing: simulate many players cashing out at the same second before you open to everyone.
Checklist: questions to ask before you hire an integration partner
Use these questions in every vendor call. Written answers are better than verbal ones.
- Which wallet model do you support, seamless or transfer, and why?
- How do you handle idempotency and rollback when a request is retried or a round fails?
- Is there documented API access and a sandbox environment for testing?
- What latency and uptime do you expect, and will you put them in writing?
- Who holds the maths, and who is responsible for RNG certification?
- Who owns the code and IP after delivery?
- In what format can reports be exported?
- Which logs are kept, and for how long?
- What is the client's own licence position, and in which markets?
- What support is offered after launch?
- Red flags: a guaranteed launch in days, guaranteed player returns, no sandbox, or no written scope.
How Brandzivio can help
Brandzivio builds gaming websites and platforms with user wallets, real-time WebSocket engines and admin tools for clients in India and abroad, as software only. Our gaming website development service covers a game lobby, user accounts and wallet, leaderboards, tournaments and rewards, a secure real-time engine, an admin panel with reporting, and anti-fraud and audit logs, built with Node.js, WebSockets, React, Redis and PostgreSQL. Teams with similar real-time needs can also look at our real-time trading app development at /services/trading-app-development.
For a gaming website or platform, our indicative range is Rs 2,00,000 to Rs 12,00,000 over 6 to 16 weeks. That is not a quote for crash game integration, which we have not priced here, and it will differ from the vendor estimates above. The client is responsible for licences and compliance.
Planning to connect a game or wallet to your platform? Share your stack and market, and talk to Brandzivio about your platform at /contact, or read about gaming website development services at /services/gaming-website-development. Software only; you handle licences.
Frequently asked questions
What is a crash game API?
A crash game API is the set of requests that lets a crash game talk to your platform. It typically covers authentication, balance, bet, payout and round history, so the game can debit stakes, credit cash-outs and record every round without holding your players' money itself.
What is the difference between a seamless wallet and a transfer wallet?
In a seamless wallet, the balance stays on your platform and the game calls your wallet for each bet and win. In a transfer wallet, players move funds into a separate game balance and back. Seamless gives one balance but needs a fast, reliable wallet API.
How does a provably fair crash game work?
The server commits to a secret server seed by publishing its hash before play. The player adds a client seed, and a nonce counts the rounds. After the round the seed is revealed, so anyone can recalculate the crash point and check that it matches the earlier hash.
Should I license a crash game or build a custom one?
If you only need a crash game on an existing platform, integrating a licensed title is usually faster and cheaper. Build custom when you need control over the maths, branding or source code. Whichever route you take, agree code ownership and certification duties in writing.
How long does crash game integration take?
It depends on scope. Vendors publish a basic custom build at 8 to 12 weeks, or 14 to 18 weeks with compliance extras (Source Code Lab, 2026). Integrating a licensed game is typically shorter. Brandzivio's indicative range for a gaming platform is 6 to 16 weeks, not a crash-specific quote.
Are crash games legal in India?
Under the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025, real-money crash games appear to fall within the ban on online money games. Free-to-play versions without stakes are a different matter. Brandzivio builds software only, and this is not legal advice, so consult a lawyer.
