Casino Game API Integration Company: Scope and Process

By the Brandzivio team · Published 16 October 2026 · Updated 16 October 2026

This page is for iGaming operators, white-label owners and platform start-ups that already have, or are building, a player account and wallet system and now need to hire a casino game API integration company. After reading it you should be able to judge what the project contains, which wallet model and sourcing route fit you, what drives time and cost, and which questions separate a careful vendor from a vague one.

Brandzivio builds software only. We do not supply game content, studio contracts, licences or certification, and nothing here is legal advice. If you only run one in-house game, you do not need an integration partner. If you plan to offer many third-party games, read on. Ready to scope? Share your platform and target studios at /contact.

What does a casino game API integration company do?

In plain terms, it connects your platform, meaning your player account management (PAM) system and wallet, to one game aggregator or to several game studios through their APIs. Players see games in your lobby; the studio runs the game; your platform stays the system of record for accounts and money.

The software scope is usually broader than people expect. Brandzivio does not provide game content, studio or aggregator contracts, or licences; you source those yourself. The integration team writes the code that sits between your platform and the studio.

  • Game launch and session handling, including tokens and launch URLs
  • Wallet endpoints that answer the studio's bet, win and rollback calls
  • Game catalogue sync, so new titles and metadata appear in your lobby
  • Free rounds, if the studio supports them, plus reporting and reconciliation
  • Back-office toggles to enable, hide or limit games by market or player group

How does a casino game API integration work step by step?

A single round follows the same pattern across most providers, although field names and authentication differ. Always follow the specific provider's documentation.

  • 1. The player clicks a game; your platform asks the provider for a launch URL or token.
  • 2. The provider returns it and a session opens in the player's browser or app.
  • 3. The studio's remote game server (RGS) runs the round, including the certified RNG.
  • 4. For each bet the RGS calls your wallet to debit; for each win it calls credit.
  • 5. The round closes, and any failed or unconfirmed bet is handled with a rollback.
  • 6. Reports from the provider are reconciled against your own ledger, usually daily.

Seamless wallet or transfer wallet: which integration model fits?

In a seamless wallet the player's balance stays with you and the studio calls debit and credit for every bet and win. In a transfer wallet, funds move into a studio-held balance and back afterwards (Track360, June 2026). Track360 describes seamless as the common choice for multi-product operators and transfer as simpler for a first launch with few studios.

Wallet speed matters on every game type, because the studio waits for your response to each bet. Fast-paced formats such as live dealer and crash-style games make a slow response more visible to players, so load test before launch.

Integrate directly, use an aggregator or white-label: how do the options compare?

Source Code Lab, a vendor, estimates direct integration of 20-50 providers at roughly 6-12 months, versus 4-8 weeks through one aggregator (accessed 2026). These are vendor estimates, not guarantees. Aggregator terms are commonly a revenue share that you negotiate; no standard figure exists.

If you want to build the aggregation layer yourself, see our guide to casino game aggregator API development at /solutions/casino-game-aggregator-api-development. Our suggestion: most new operators start with one aggregator and go direct only for exclusive content or very high volume. Building your own aggregation layer is a separate project; this page covers the buyer's side.

Which wallet failure cases must the integration handle?

The classic problem is the timeout. The studio calls debit, your wallet processes it, but the response is lost. The studio retries. Without protection the player is charged twice. Use the checklist below to test any integration, whoever builds it; these are verification questions, not promises about any vendor. Load test at expected peak bets per second before launch.

  • Does every debit and credit carry an idempotency key, so a retry never charges twice?
  • Are transaction IDs and round IDs unique and stored?
  • Is there a rollback for bets that were never confirmed (debit / credit / rollback)?
  • Is there a defined timeout and retry policy on both sides?
  • Are requests signed, with IP allow-lists where the provider supports them?
  • Is all traffic over TLS?
  • Is the ledger append-only, so entries are never edited?
  • Are audit logs kept for every wallet event?
  • Is there daily reconciliation against the studio's reports?
  • Do monitoring and alerts fire on callback errors and slow responses?

Licences, certification and compliance: what stays with you?

The client is responsible for gambling licences, studio and aggregator contracts, game certification and legal advice in every market served. RNG outcomes are produced on the studio's remote game server, so certification by accredited labs such as GLI, iTech Labs, eCOGRA or BMM attaches to the studio's game, not to the integration middleware. Check certificates in the lab's own registry and confirm they cover each jurisdiction you target. Game metadata such as RTP and supported currencies should come from the provider, not be assumed.

India needs particular care. The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 received assent on 22 August 2025 and, as summarised in the PIB explainer, prohibits offering or facilitating online money games, while e-sports and no-stake social games are carved out. We do not offer a legal conclusion and do not suggest targeting Indian players with real-money games. Take Indian legal advice and verify the current gazette position.

Your platform also needs responsible gambling tools such as deposit and loss limits, self-exclusion and reality checks, plus KYC / AML processes and data protection under laws such as the DPDP Act where relevant.

How long does casino API integration take and what does it cost?

Source Code Lab's vendor estimate is about 4-8 weeks for one aggregator API, and 6-12 months for 20-50 providers integrated directly. Certification and regulator approval in regulated markets can add months and sit outside the software scope.

Cost depends mainly on the number of studios or aggregators, the wallet model, jurisdictions, back-office depth, reporting, load and uptime targets, and whether live dealer games are needed. That is why published figures vary so widely.

For reference, Brandzivio's indicative range for gaming platforms is Rs 2,00,000 - Rs 12,00,000 over 6 - 16 weeks. That range covers a gaming platform build; an integration-only scope is quoted after discovery and should not be assumed to fall inside it. Plan for ongoing costs as well: hosting, monitoring, studio API changes and support. Aggregator fees are paid to the aggregator, not to your software vendor.

How to choose a casino API integration company: questions to ask

These questions draw on industry guidance such as Yogonet (December 2025) and Source Code Lab, plus standard engineering practice. Ask them of every vendor, including us.

  • Can we see API documentation and a sandbox before signing?
  • What exactly are the retry and timeout rules for wallet callbacks?
  • How are orphaned or disputed bets reconciled?
  • What peak-load test results can you share?
  • What is monitored, and who is alerted at night?
  • Where is player data stored, and which subcontractors can access it?
  • Who owns the source code at handover?
  • Which certifications cover the jurisdictions we serve?
  • Is there a written scope and API specification?
  • What are the ongoing support terms?

Frequently asked questions

What is a casino game API?

A casino game API is the set of web interfaces a game studio or aggregator exposes so an operator can launch games, open sessions and handle bet, win and rollback calls against the operator's wallet. It lets many games appear in one lobby without building each game yourself.

How long does casino API integration take?

A vendor estimate suggests about 4-8 weeks for one aggregator API, and 6-12 months for 20-50 providers integrated directly (Source Code Lab, 2026). Certification and regulator approval can add months and are outside the software scope. Treat all figures as estimates until a vendor gives a written plan.

What is the difference between a seamless wallet and a transfer wallet?

In a seamless wallet the balance stays with the operator and the studio debits and credits it for every bet and win. In a transfer wallet, funds move into a studio-held balance and back afterwards. Seamless is more demanding on wallet uptime and speed; transfer is simpler to build.

Should I integrate game studios directly or use an aggregator?

Most new operators start with one aggregator because it gives many games through one integration and one contract. Direct integration makes sense for exclusive content or very high volume, since it needs a separate integration and contract for each studio and takes much longer overall.

Do casino games need certification before going live?

Regulated markets generally expect games and RNG to be tested by accredited labs such as GLI or iTech Labs. Certification sits on the studio's server, but you must confirm it covers every jurisdiction you serve. Brandzivio does not arrange certification; confirm requirements with your lawyer and licensor.

How do I choose a casino API integration company?

Ask for sandbox access, a written scope and API specification, retry and timeout rules, reconciliation methods, load-test evidence, data-handling details and code ownership terms. Be wary of vague answers, unsupported uptime guarantees and any vendor offering licences or pre-approved accounts.
